Geoff Piva | General Manager

Geoff brings a unique and valuable background to Lanam Club.  Geoff  is a native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and attended Salem State University where he played on the golf team and won numerous collegiate events.  After finishing college, he worked at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton MA as a Golf Professional.  It was here he was first exposed to the club industry.  Following 10 years in Sales, Geoff has come back to the club industry and has been at Lanam Club since early 2015, first as Membership Director and now as General Manager.  Geoff was recently awarded the 2016 "Next Generation Leaders" award from the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce.  Geoff is also a member of the Board of Directors for the New England Club Management Association (NECMA) and a member of the Economic Development Council in the Town of Andover.   Geoff enjoys providing the membership and their guests with a comfortable and enjoyable "Lanam Club experience".

Geoff resides in Andover with his wife Kerry and sons Jackson and Nathan.

Britony Wells | Assistant GM/Events

Britony grew up in Manchester, MA, attended prep school in New Hampshire then ventured off to college in New York and Danbury, CT.  She got the hospitality “bug” while working as a cabana girl at Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York during her summer breaks in college. After graduating from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Photography and Graphic Design, she moved back to the Boston area and worked as an Executive Assistant at a downtown architectural firm and also found time to work for a high-end caterer on the weekends.  After enjoying city life with her friends in the North End, Britony ventured home to the North Shore and began her career in Food and Beverage/Event Operations.  For the past 20 years she has enjoyed a well-rounded career within the service industry working at various hotels, venues and private clubs within the Boston/North Shore area.


Britony resides in Beverly and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and friends as well as boating, travelling and hitting the local beaches during the summer months.

Rick Gianelly | Executive Chef

Richard Gianelly was born in Malden, MA and was raised in Andover, MA. He is a graduate of Andover High School and New England Culinary Institute in Essex Junction, Vermont. He has worked in the restaurant industry for almost thirty years from as far as St. Croix, USVI to Brandon, Vermont for such acclaimed chefs as Frank Mcclelland and Robert Barral. Richard's was most recently at Orzo Trattoria in North Andover as their Executive Chef.  Richard has a passion for food and the industry and looks forward to working with the members who share that same passion as well as cooking for customers who appreciate quality preparation of the exceptional indigenous products that surround them.

Michael Hayden | Controller

Mike comes to us with over 16 years of private club accounting experience at Wentworth by the Sea Golf Club in Portsmouth, NH.   He was born and raised in Greenland, New Hampshire where he sill resides with his wife Linda and son Bennett. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and also holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.  In his spare time, Mike is an avid golfer.
